SpaceX goes public at $1.77 trillion, Daniel Sempere Pico notes
Daniel Sempere Pico highlights that SpaceX has gone public with a valuation of $1.77 trillion. Wall Street models, however, estimate the company's worth at $780 billion.
According to Sempere Pico, the valuation gap may be attributed to Elon Musk's reputation.
Sempere Pico previously examined rapid valuation increases in the tech sector, noting that Anthropic's valuation jumped from $18.5 billion to $965 billion in two years, a rise he compared to Apple's growth in a recent article. He has also discussed how token subsidies from frontier labs are affecting adoption for model-agnostic crypto platforms, according to a separate report. These earlier analyses reflect his ongoing focus on sharp valuation shifts and the factors behind them.
