David Schwartz: Lower XRP prices may benefit token holders
Schwartz discusses XRP price impact

David Schwartz, chief technology officer at Ripple Labs, discusses the distribution of value between shareholders and token holders. Schwartz responds to commentary suggesting that driving value to shareholders comes at the direct expense of token holders, proposing that if such actions reduce the price of XRP, token holders might benefit by paying lower prices when acquiring the token.

Schwartz has previously addressed system stability issues on the network. He reported that the XRPL hub returned to stable operation after about 18 minutes of downtime caused by a slower software shutdown. That event followed user concerns about reliability on the distributed ledger.
