Median and average weekly earnings up 10 percent over 15 years, Eric Lombardi notes
Weekly earnings rose 10 percent since 2010

Eric Lombardi points out that both the LFS Median and SEPH average weekly earnings increased from approximately $1,200 to $1,320 between 2010 and 2025.

This represents a total gain of about 10 percent, or an annual growth rate of roughly 0.6 percent over 15 years.

Lombardi has previously commented on fiscal policy trends in Canada and Ontario. In his earlier analysis, he suggested that both jurisdictions can strengthen their fiscal outlook through investment and lower taxes without significant service reductions. More detail is available in his article Canada and Ontario fiscal path could improve without major service cuts.
