Over 1300 bitcoins reportedly stolen in ColdCard hacks, Natalie Brunell notes
FBI questioned on ColdCard bitcoin theft

Natalie Brunell, board member at Semler Scientific and bitcoin strategy lead, asked the FBI director if the agency is working to catch those responsible for the ColdCard hacks involving the theft of more than 1300 bitcoins during a Bitcoin conference.

Her question raises concerns about the ongoing investigation into significant crypto-related security breaches.

Brunell has previously raised concerns over crypto self-custody following the ColdCard hack, where more than 10,000 coins were reportedly sent to exchanges. She has also reported that a bitcoin strategy sold 3,588 Bitcoin while President Donald Trump gained $1.4 billion from crypto holdings, as noted in a separate report. These incidents highlight the scale of recent crypto-related activity and security issues under scrutiny.
