Nvidia lifts full year revenue guidance above consensus, Edward Dowd notes
Nvidia breaks precedent with revenue guidance

Edward Dowd, founding partner at OceanSquare Asset Mgmt and ex-BlackRock executive, highlights two notable developments for Nvidia. He points out that accounts receivables days sales outstanding (DSO) have jumped significantly in the latest quarter. At the same time, management broke with precedent by issuing full year revenue guidance that is well above market consensus.

According to Dowd, this move marks a pattern break that bullish investors are likely to view as a major positive for the company.

Dowd has previously drawn attention to executive moves and transparency issues at major financial institutions. He noted that three private credit CEOs exited the Goldman Sachs PC Fund within eight weeks. Dowd also discussed federal scrutiny and margin calls involving Guggenheim CEO Mark Walter.
