Adam Livingston: Bitcoin valuations will shift perceptions as prices climb
Bitcoin milestones may change perceptions

Adam Livingston draws attention to shifting perceptions of Bitcoin as its price increases. He notes that while $200,000 may initially appear extreme, this view may normalize over time. Livingston suggests that higher price milestones such as $500,000 and $1,000,000 will be regarded first as irresponsible or as a bubble, but could later become widely accepted benchmarks.

He concludes that as valuations rise, the focus in the crypto community may move away from quoting prices in dollars and shift toward considering how many satoshis people can still buy.

Livingston has previously analyzed investor strategies in both equities and digital assets. In an earlier note, he described a retirement plan combining Bitcoin and $500,000 in convertible preferred stock. He has also reported on valuations in the S&P 500, where investors pay $29 for each $1 of earnings.
