Tansu Yegen: AI could boost U.S. GDP to $44.4 trillion in 2030
AI projected to drive U.S. GDP growth

Tansu Yegen, tech and finance commentator at Social Media (LinkedIn), highlights potential economic impacts of artificial intelligence. According to Anthropic’s scenarios cited by Yegen, U.S. GDP could reach $34.1 trillion, $36.3 trillion or $44.4 trillion in 2030 if AI is widely adopted.

These projections represent a 1.6 percent, 8.3 percent, or 32.4 percent increase over an economy without AI, but Yegen cautions that the benefits may not be evenly distributed among knowledge workers.

Yegen has previously reviewed a 75-year chart on how the largest global companies have changed from 1950 to 2026 here. He has also highlighted Ray Dalio’s talk covering core economic and investment principles here. These earlier posts focused on long-term company trends and foundational economic explanations.
