Sobel to host Dudley on policy

Mark Sobel will host Bill Dudley for a discussion on U.S. monetary policy, the September FOMC meeting, and five task forces during a joint OMFIF and Bretton Woods Committee event on Friday, September 18 at 9 a.m. EDT and 2 p.m. London time.

He invited interested participants to sign up for the event.

Sobel has previously analyzed Kevin Warsh’s discussion at Jackson Hole, covering economic data, forward guidance, and U.S. Treasury concerns in a separate report. He has also shared commentary from Jamie Franco, a former Treasury debt management official, on Scott Bessent and U.S. Treasury buybacks in another note. These insights reflect Sobel’s ongoing focus on key U.S. monetary and fiscal policy issues.
