Tech stocks drop, war rally erased

Tech stocks, particularly semiconductors, experienced significant declines yesterday, with semiconductors falling 12.5 percent and NASDAQ nearly 7 percent.

Chris Martenson reported that the market drop erased roughly half of the so-called "war rally." He also observed that bonds showed little response, as the 10-year yield moved only about 5 basis points.

Martenson has recently tracked price action in key commodities alongside market volatility. He reported that the December 2027 future oil contract reached a record high and continued to climb here. Martenson also noted that tanker attacks and Hormuz disruptions pushed oil to $200 equivalent at the pump here.
