At $128.54, Oracle trades slightly below its MA-20 ($129.52), with the MA-50 ($165.95) and MA-200 ($184.01) still well above the current price, indicating the short-term trend is under pressure while both medium- and long-term trends remain bearish. The Ichimoku Kijun on D1 is $140.13, which sits above the current price and therefore acts as immediate resistance; near-term support is seen at MA-20 ($129.52), with key support at the MA-100 ($165.28), while near-term resistance is the Kijun ($140.13) and key resistance is found at the MA-50 ($165.95).
Momentum indicators on D1 show bearish conditions, with the MACD at -13.53 (Strong Sell) and the ADX at 30.30 (Sell), underscoring ongoing downward pressure. RSI on D1 reads 43.03 (Sell), while Stoch RSI is pegged at 100 (Overbought) and BBP also signals Overbought—a warning of buyer exhaustion even as short-term momentum attempts to recover. The BBP’s positive dominance highlights persistent buyer activity within the session, but CCI and the Awesome Oscillator both read Neutral, emphasizing indecision. Over the past week, ORCL has risen $13.41 (11.53%) from the previous week’s close at $115.13, now trading at the very top of the weekly range; weekly volatility stands at a notable 12.82%. The price surged sharply from recent lows, but proximity to resistance and overbought readings suggest rally fatigue is a risk.
Looking to the coming week, the expected trading range is normalized to $122.00–$135.00, keeping current levels between the 52-week low ($114.50) and the distant high ($345.72). Probability analysis based on the W1 indicators (RSI, ADX, MACD, MA-50) yields a very low probability (less than 20%) of further price increases and a much higher likelihood of a decline. The baseline scenario sees ORCL consolidating in a sideways channel between support near $122 and resistance at $135. A bullish break above $135 would require strong renewed momentum to overcome resistance, but technicals suggest this is unlikely. Conversely, a bearish scenario could emerge if the price fails at $122, exposing it to further losses toward the mid-$110s.
Earlier, analysts noted that Oracle faced persistent technical weakness despite some positive developments, with prevailing bearish momentum limiting the likelihood of a sustained rebound. The current article adds fresh insights on market dynamics, and traders should closely monitor for any decisive momentum shifts that could define the next trend.
