Bearish setup holds as price tests resistance and RSI nears oversold

Price is sitting right at resistance from the weekly high at $13.48. Shares of The Trade Desk remain below their MA-20, MA-50, and MA-200, which keeps the daily chart structure bearish. RSI at 31.1 is approaching oversold territory, suggesting that the recent decline is becoming stretched.

Downside odds dominate as price remains capped below resistance

A close above $13.48 would show buyers are willing to follow through. The session opened with a gap up from the previous close of $13.02 to $13.12, showing early interest at higher levels. Still, while the move has remained contained within a narrow range over the past week, the outlook points toward more downside: there is less than 20% probability of moving higher and more than 80% probability of downside over the next five trading days, with an expected range between $13.19 and $13.64. A drop below $12.98 would show the move is being faded. On the weekly chart, the longer-term picture stays negative.

Previously it was reported that The Trade Desk had entered a potential inflection point, with short-term technicals closely watched following a shift above key moving averages. With price action now constrained beneath major moving averages and sharply skewed downside odds over the coming sessions, the key level to monitor is $12.98, where a break lower could trigger further weakness.
