Limited upside as bearish risk overshadows reversal hopes

In the near term, QUBT is expected to consolidate within a typical volatility band of $7.42 to $8.3 over the next 2–3 trading days. The probability of a move higher remains very low, while the risk of a further decline is elevated. If the price breaks above the $8.29 resistance (Kijun), a bullish reversal could develop. A move below $7.42 would reinforce the bearish scenario and open the way for additional downside.

Viktoras Karapetjanc, expert at Traders Union, sees QUBT trading under clear technical weakness, with sustained selling pressure dominating the short term. He notes that key moving averages and momentum indicators all point to a challenging environment for buyers. Volatility remains high, while resistance at $8.29 marks a crucial barrier for any recovery. Karapetjanc believes a bullish reversal is unlikely without a breakout above this level, and the risk remains skewed to the downside as long as price holds below $8.29. "I remain constructive but patient — unless QUBT clears $8.29 with conviction, upside potential is limited in the near term."

Earlier, analysts noted that Quantum Computing continued to face sustained bearish pressure amid weak technical indicators. The current analysis reinforces this view, signaling that the prevailing downtrend remains intact and highlighting $7.42 as a critical support level for traders to monitor in the days ahead.
