Gaming Hardware and Business Leadership by Min-Liang Tan

Min-Liang Tan is the co-founder and CEO of Razer Inc., a Singapore-based consumer electronics company with a global user base of 175 million registered gamers. Tan holds a law degree from the National University of Singapore and is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Gaming. In 2021, Tan confirmed Razer’s interest in accepting cryptocurrency payments for hardware and digital goods, beginning with feasibility assessments for tokens including Nano and USDT.

Under Tan’s leadership, Razer implemented a GPU-mining rewards program that converts idle processing into credits redeemable for Razer gear. As of 2025, the initiative has issued over 400 million Razer Silver points, correlating with more than 1.1 million redemptions across gaming mice, keyboards, and software bundles. The company has also explored wallet integrations and tested in-game NFT issuance under Razer Gold architecture.

Tan’s methodical approach to blockchain adoption within consumer tech places Razer at the frontier of hardware-backed crypto monetization and loyalty economics.
