Gate.io has officially integrated Polymarket into its app, making it the first centralized exchange to embed a decentralized prediction market within its platform. The feature, now available in public beta on app version 8.12.5 and above, allows users to participate in prediction markets on a range of real-world events—including sports, finance, crypto, and political outcomes—directly from the app via either their existing exchange account (using USDT) or by connecting a Web3 wallet (using USDC on Polygon).

The integration includes beginner-friendly and advanced interfaces, options for unified asset viewing, and AI-powered translation to facilitate global participation. Promotional campaigns are running from March 23–30, 2026, including an event proposal competition with a 1,000 GT prize pool and first-time prediction loss protection for new users.

How to participate

To join Gate.io’s Polymarket promotional campaigns, first update the Gate.io App to version 8.12.5 or later. Access the Polymarket module via the app, and choose your participation path: trade using USDT from your Gate.io spot account, or connect a Web3 wallet to trade with USDC on Polygon. For the event proposal incentive (March 23–30, 2026), submit a new market event proposal to be eligible for a share of the 1,000 GT prize pool. New users making their first prediction trade can also benefit from loss protection according to the campaign terms. To get started, users can register via the official sign-up link.
