Gate.io announced the launch of the Gate Card, a Visa-backed card that allows users to make global payments with cryptocurrencies, offering support for Apple Pay and Google Pay, as well as up to 5% cashback and rewards in BTC, USDT, USDC, and GT.
Gate.io has introduced the Gate Card, a prepaid Visa debit card enabling eligible users to make global payments using cryptocurrencies including USDT, USDC, BTC, and ETH. The card offers both virtual and physical formats, supports integration with Google Pay (with Apple Pay planned for the future), and provides up to 5% cashback in BTC, USDT, USDC, or GT on eligible spending.
To apply, users must complete Level 2 identity verification and may need to submit proof of address, with availability limited to users in non-restricted regions. The card is linked to the user’s Gate.io spot account, allowing payments to be made directly from the existing crypto balance, with automatic conversion at the point of sale.
To participate in the Gate Card program from Gate.io, visit the Gate Card page and ensure you reside in a non-restricted country or region. Complete Level 2 identity verification (KYC) and provide proof of address if required. Select your preferred card type (virtual or physical), choose supported crypto assets for spending, and submit your application. Once approved, activate your card and begin making payments directly from your Gate.io balance; registration is available via the official sign-up link.
