Gate.io launches live event market trading with Polymarket integration — Gate.io adds live event trading feature

Gate.io has introduced live event market trading on its app through the integration of Polymarket, enabling users to follow and trade sports, esports, and crypto event outcomes in real time using either a central account or Web3 wallet.

Gate.io has launched live event market trading within its app by integrating Polymarket, making it the first centralized exchange to offer in-app prediction market functionality. The feature, available in public beta on Gate.io App version 8.12.5 or newer, enables real-time trading on sports, esports, crypto, and other event markets through either a centralized account using USDT or a Web3 wallet with USDC on Polygon.

Users can choose between simplified Prediction Mode with intuitive Yes/No probabilities or advanced Trading Mode with detailed market tools. The platform provides unified asset management, AI-powered translation, and at launch includes incentives such as a proposal prize pool and first-time loss protection.

How to participate

To join the Gate.io live event market campaign, first update your Gate.io App to version 8.12.5 or later. Log in, navigate to the “Alpha” page, and select the Polymarket module. You can participate with USDT through your Gate spot account or with USDC using a Web3 wallet on Polygon, and choose between simplified Prediction Mode or advanced Trading Mode. During the launch period, users can also submit event prediction proposals for a chance to share a GT prize pool, and new users receive first-trade loss protection.
