Gate.io has announced a substantial upgrade of GateAI, its conversational AI assistant for trading, with the introduction of a dedicated web portal and expanded features. According to official materials, GateAI now integrates across web, macOS, and Windows interfaces, supporting natural-language commands for tasks such as market queries, asset management, trade execution, and personalized recommendations. The most recent update, released on March 18, 2026, added 20 new capabilities across 12 business lines, including support for derivatives, spot trading, and other modules.

The assistant interface now features multimodal input options, a 'Deep Reasoning' mode for step-by-step analytical responses, and synchronization of chat history across devices. All actions require user confirmation, and the system operates with end-to-end encryption, accessing real-time market data without issuing trade signals or predictions. Additional infrastructure, termed "Gate for AI," enables integration of AI agents with Gate’s trading and data systems.
