Gate.io announced a partnership with Alpaca to enable direct trading of over 10,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs using USDT through the new Gate Stocks service. This feature provides access to real equities, not tokenized assets, via an updated version of the Gate app.

Gate.io has launched a new feature called Gate Stocks, enabling users to trade over 10,000 real U.S. stocks and ETFs directly within the Gate app. This service is made possible through a partnership with Alpaca, a regulated U.S. broker-dealer providing compliant brokerage infrastructure.
Unlike tokenized or synthetic products, Gate Stocks offers direct access to actual equities, with trades conducted using the USDT stablecoin. To use this feature, users are required to update their Gate app to version 8.21.5 or higher.
