ApeX discontinues USDT (Bridged) support on Mantle Network with shift to native USDT0 standard
ApeX announced the discontinuation of USDT (Bridged) deposits and withdrawals on the Mantle network as the ecosystem transitions to USDT0, the new native omnichain stablecoin standard for Mantle. Users who hold Mantle USDT (Bridged) can still withdraw via supported ApeX Omni networks.

ApeX has discontinued deposits and withdrawals of USDT (Bridged) on the Mantle network as part of Mantle’s transition to USDT0, which is described as a new native omnichain stablecoin standard. Current holders of Mantle USDT (Bridged) retain the ability to withdraw via supported ApeX Omni networks.
According to the official announcement, USDT0 is now live on the Mantle Network and operates on LayerZero's Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard, allowing cross-chain stablecoin transfers without the need for wrapping or custodial bridging. Mantle’s deployment of USDT0 is positioned as an infrastructure update intended to support stablecoin transactions across multiple networks and enhance interoperability for both institutional and DeFi use cases.
