Gate.io has introduced Gate Stocks, a new service allowing users to trade U.S. and Hong Kong stocks directly within the existing platform using USDT. The feature integrates real equities trading, covering over 10,000 securities and ETFs from major U.S. exchanges and more than 1,000 Hong Kong-listed stocks, with share ownership, dividends, and splits managed automatically.

Access requires an updated version of the Gate app and completion of KYC verification. As part of the launch, Gate.io is conducting a $1 million stock airdrop event throughout June 2026, where participants who complete designated stock trades become eligible for ANTHROPIC shares after listing, with winners awarded daily.

How to participate

To join Gate.io's Gate Stocks $1 million stock airdrop event, users should update the Gate app to at least version 8.21.5 (or 8.23.5 for Hong Kong stocks), complete KYC verification, and ensure local access permissions. After funding their Gate stock account with USDT, participants must place trades in U.S. or Hong Kong stocks via the "TradFi" or "Stocks" section during the event period. Those who fulfill the designated trading tasks automatically enter the airdrop, with shares of ANTHROPIC stock distributed to eligible accounts. Users can start by registering via the official sign-up link.
