Gate.io has announced the launch of a limited-time Soft Staking promotion for the USD1 stablecoin, with an advertised dynamic annual percentage rate (APR) currently noted at 13.61%. Users who hold at least 1 USD1 in their Gate.io Assets account are eligible to receive on-chain rewards, calculated daily based on their average holdings, with the APR updated each day in response to platform conditions and capped balances. The mechanism includes hourly balance snapshots, and rewards are credited the following day; holdings within Flexible or Fixed Term Earn products do not qualify. The APR is subject to change and may reach up to 20%, but actual rates fluctuate daily according to the platform’s reward budget and total eligible USD1 holdings, and participation is restricted in certain regions.
