Deribit announced that more than $1 billion in notional volume has been traded in its ongoing Island Competition, which has seen over 500 registrations, 276 active traders, and more than 400 participants sharing upwards of $65,000 in rewards so far.

Deribit, together with SignalPlus, has launched 'The Island' trading competition, which offers a prize pool of up to 600,000 USDC and is open to retail traders using SignalPlus on Deribit. Running from July 6 to August 10, 2026, the event includes both solo and team leaderboards, daily and weekly reward mechanisms, and features such as Mystery Boxes and a Private Island jackpot, with standings based on eligible options and futures trading volume.

As of the latest update, the competition has seen over 500 registrations, with 276 active traders and more than 400 participants already sharing upwards of $65,000 in rewards. Registration is open until August 10, and various incentives and promotional mechanics—including Early Bird rewards and referral bonuses—are in place for participants.

How to participate

To join Deribit's 'The Island' trading competition, register between June 29 and August 10, 2026 via SignalPlus on Deribit. Trade eligible options and futures during the event to accumulate volume and engage in a variety of challenges, including solo and team leaderboards, daily tasks, Mystery Boxes, and referral arenas.
