Bitfinex announced that its Bitfinex Borrow feature allows users to borrow funds using a range of crypto and fiat assets, including BTC, ETH, SOL, USDt, XAUt, USD, and EUR, as collateral, with no early repayment fee if loans are repaid ahead of schedule.
Bitfinex has detailed that its Bitfinex Borrow feature enables users to obtain funds by pledging a variety of crypto and fiat assets as collateral. Acceptable collateral includes cryptocurrencies and stablecoins such as BTC, ETH, SOL, USDt, XAUt, as well as fiat currencies USD and EUR; support documentation further specifies additional assets like LTC, XRP, LEO, ADA, DOT, UNI, LINK, and IOTA are also permitted.
The platform outlines minimum loan amounts, verification requirements based on account creation date, and both variable- and fixed-rate loan options. Notably, users can repay loans ahead of schedule without incurring an early repayment fee, though interest for at least one hour is applied to repayments made within the first hour.
Bitfinex is a cryptocurrency exchange offering trading of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, a wide range of cryptocurrency pairs, and several fiat currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, and JPY. The platform features a proprietary terminal with a mobile app, margin trading with up to 1:10 leverage (or up to 1:100 for derivatives), custom order options, and a demo account. Additional programs such as staking and deposit options are available; more details can be found in the full review on Traders Union.
