HTX has introduced the Retail Price Improvement (RPI) order mode for spot and margin trading, as announced in its recent post. This mode allows approved market makers to place a special type of limit order via API for selected trading pairs, with the aim of providing deeper liquidity, enhanced market depth, and lower slippage for retail users. RPI orders are available only to whitelisted market makers through OpenAPI and interact exclusively with non-algorithmic orders originating from the HTX App or Web interface. The orders are maker-only, have lower execution priority at a given price compared to non-RPI orders, and are governed by specific visibility and submission rules. Detailed technical requirements, usage restrictions, fee structures, and supported trading pairs are outlined in HTX’s official support documentation.

HTX (Huobi) is a global cryptocurrency exchange established in 2013, offering trading with around 300 currency pairs and accommodating clients worldwide through its integrated platform. Key features include a low minimum deposit of US$1 and a wide selection of trading instruments, but it lacks a demo account, has limited support channels, and is neither licensed nor regulated, with no segregated accounts or training resources available.
