UK-based fintech company Paysend announced it has partnered with Visa as part of its program to give clients more options for international money transfers.

"As part of this partnership, Paysend clients will be able to send money in real-time to Visa cards in 170 countries and regions on a global level," Paysend said.

According to Paysend, the collaboration, which will last 5 years, aims to improve international money transfers by using Visa Direct, a VisaNet-based technology that enables secure and convenient real-time money transfers.

It's worth noting that the 5-year alliance builds on the companies' initial collaboration in February 2022, as well as the partnership between Paysend and CurrencyCloud.

As part of the partnership, both companies will engage in marketing initiatives that will accelerate and improve the overall development of Visa card payments in key corridors, such as the US-Latin America.

According to Pausend's statement, the main goal is to bridge the gap that exists between countries with weak banking infrastructures.
