Binance has expanded its Stock Options platform by introducing two new short-side options strategies: Covered Call and Cash-Secured Put, as announced on October 15, 2026. These additions enable users to sell call options against held shares or to sell put options backed by USDC collateral, allowing for the collection of premium income. According to the announcement, users must meet specific collateral requirements, use limit orders, and complete suitability steps before trading. Settlement involves physical delivery of shares via Alpaca Securities LLC, and risk disclosures note both market risks and the need for user acknowledgment of potential losses.
