Bitfinex has introduced over 60 margin trading pairs, including BTC and ETH against the euro and pound sterling, as well as tokenised gold. According to the recently published Bitfinex Playbook, this expansion is accompanied by the introduction of two leveraged trading instruments: margin trading with up to 10× leverage using collateral from over 30 different assets, and perpetual contracts offering up to 100× leverage. Both instruments are offered with zero trading fees, with margin trades subject only to peer-to-peer funding costs. The announcement also notes that the exchange now provides coverage across spot, margin, and derivatives markets without trading fees, and outlines various use cases such as scalping, day trading, swing trading, and hedging.

Bitfinex is a crypto exchange platform offering trading in a wide range of digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and various fiat pairs such as USD, EUR, GBP, and JPY. The platform features its own trading terminal with mobile app support, customizable and scalable order options, margin trading with leverage up to 1:10 on the main market and up to 1:100 for derivatives, demo accounts, and access to staking and deposit investment programs.
