eToro, the global multi-asset investment platform, has introduced Momentum-Edge, a next-generation Smart Portfolio that merges artificial intelligence, Bitcoin diversification, and guaranteed capital protection.

According to eToro, Momentum-Edge allocates 95% of funds to an AI-based long/short strategy on U.S. equities through the Momentum-LS Smart Portfolio, while the remaining 5% is invested in Bitcoin, offering a balance between innovation and risk control. To be eligible for capital protection, investors must stay invested until the portfolio’s maturity on June 30, 2028.
Investment details and conditions
The investment window runs from October 20 to December 31, 2025, with a minimum entry of $10,000 and additional investments starting at $5,000. There are no management fees beyond eToro’s standard trading costs. The company notes that the strategy is designed to deliver hedge-fund-style performance with full capital protection at maturity — a unique blend in the retail investing space.
Momentum-Edge stands out as part of eToro’s expanding suite of Smart Portfolios, which leverage data-driven insights, automated portfolio management, and thematic exposure across asset classes. The firm highlights that capital protection applies only at the maturity date, emphasizing the product’s long-term investment horizon.
