Kodak expands SONORA plate output

Eastman Kodak reports that its Osterode, Germany facility, covering 297,000 square feet, is integral to delivering KODAK SONORA Plates to customers around the world.

The plant combines technical expertise, high-precision manufacturing, and a workforce approaching 300 skilled employees to maintain production and distribution capabilities for the global print sector.

Kodak has taken similar steps to expand its manufacturing capabilities in other sectors. Earlier this year, the company announced a partnership with Ateios Systems to streamline battery manufacturing. Kodak has also introduced U.S.-made KSMs to aid pharmaceutical firms. These initiatives underscore the company's focus on capital-efficient production and technical innovation.
