SpaceX delays Falcon 9 Starlink launch to April 6 due to upper level winds
SpaceX has postponed the launch of its Falcon 9 rocket carrying Starlink satellites due to high upper-level winds.
The mission, originally scheduled to launch earlier, is now targeting Monday, April 6 from California. The company regularly reschedules launches to accommodate adverse weather conditions to ensure safety and mission success. Further updates on the launch schedule are expected as SpaceX monitors weather developments.
SpaceX recently completed a cryoproof campaign for Ship 39 as part of advancing its next generation Starship V3 with updated propellant system testing, according to an earlier report here. In a separate initiative, the company outlined plans for a manufacturing facility designed to integrate logic, memory, and packaging chips in one site in partnership with Tesla and xAI here. These activities come as SpaceX continues to refine both its mission operations and technical infrastructure.
