ChatGPT Images 2.0 introduces sharper editing and richer layouts, transforming user image creation
OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Images 2.0, a next-generation image model designed to handle complex visual tasks and provide precise, immediately usable outputs.
The new tool features enhanced editing capabilities, more sophisticated design layouts, and what OpenAI describes as thinking-level intelligence for producing high-quality visuals. The announcement was accompanied by a demonstration video made using the new model, signaling an expanded role for artificial intelligence in creative workflows. Details regarding commercial rollout and integration into existing platforms have yet to be disclosed.
Earlier this year, OpenAI advanced efforts to clarify AI behavior with its Model Spec framework. The company also confirmed platform security after a security incident involving Axios. These moves come as OpenAI expands its portfolio with tools such as ChatGPT Images 2.0.
