Dragonfly Energy gets Nevada grant

Dragonfly Energy has been selected for a second consecutive round of Nevada Tech Hub funding, receiving an award exceeding 500,000 dollars.

The new capital will be used to expand in-house cell prototyping and enhance advanced battery testing capabilities. These developments are aimed at accelerating research and development as well as supporting next-generation product development in the battery sector.

Earlier this year, Dragonfly Energy secured a multi-million dollar deal to equip Stevens Transport trucks with its full suite of products beginning in 2026, according to a company announcement. The company also obtained its first Japanese patent for solid-state battery technology as it advanced next-generation cell platform development, as noted in a prior report. The recent Tech Hub award builds on these developments.
