Daimler Truck receives Aeva Technologies sensors in step toward Level 4 autonomous production
Aeva Technologies delivers LiDAR sensors

Aeva Technologies has delivered its first Atlas 4D LiDAR C-sample sensors to Daimler Truck and Torc Robotics, supporting their autonomous truck production initiative.

The delivery represents a significant phase in the move toward series production of SAE Level 4 autonomous Freightliner Cascadia trucks. Aeva Technologies is collaborating closely with partners to advance technology integration for commercial deployment in the trucking industry.

Aeva previously deployed its Atlas 4D LiDAR sensors in ForterraDrive's MESA vehicle for defense sector applications, according to a recent report. The company has worked to expand autonomous technology across multiple industries. Its commercial partnerships continue to drive adoption of its sensor platform.
