Hyliion is presenting its KARNO technology as a solution for an energy grid that is increasingly under pressure to meet rising demand. The company’s CEO, Thomas Healy, recently spoke with podcast host Jordan Harbinger to outline how the KARNO platform is designed to address next-generation power generation needs.
The discussion focused on the growing demands placed on power infrastructure and the role of new technologies in advancing the energy transition. According to Hyliion, the KARNO system could offer greater flexibility and efficiency as industries seek alternatives to conventional energy sources.
Hyliion previously completed multi-fuel transitions with its KARNO reactor, running on natural gas, hydrogen, diesel, and back to natural gas without requiring hardware changes. The company also received UL certification and began building an 800 kilowatt multi-fuel KARNO system. These developments come as Hyliion positions the platform to meet rising energy grid demands.
