Frontier models and Codex debut on AWS as OpenAI enables enterprise-grade security
OpenAI has announced the general availability of its frontier models and Codex AI tools on Amazon Web Services, allowing enterprises to leverage these capabilities through Amazon Bedrock within existing security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
This move marks the start of a broader expansion for OpenAI, giving businesses enhanced options to adopt advanced artificial intelligence as part of their technology stack. The integration aims to streamline development and deployment of AI-powered solutions for enterprise clients across a range of industries.
OpenAI previously launched a preview of Codex integration with the ChatGPT mobile app, enabling project workflows from mobile devices earlier this year. The company has also rolled out an update allowing users to securely control Mac apps remotely from their phones, even if the Mac is locked in a separate release. The expanded AWS integration follows these recent software developments.
