Hawaiian Electric invites Hawaii residents to shape resilience strategy for clean energy grid
Hawaiian Electric is calling on Hawaii residents to participate in shaping the state’s future energy grid.
The company is developing plans for a safe, reliable and resilient clean energy infrastructure, and is reaching out for community feedback via a brief online survey. Hawaiian Electric aims to integrate public perspectives into its strategy as it transitions toward cleaner and more robust power solutions. Hawaiian Electric recently began offering H-HEAP bill credits for customers facing high energy costs. The company is also seeking a supervising engineer to lead Transmission and Distribution operations on Oahu. These efforts come as the utility works to strengthen its infrastructure and support local residents.
