Clean Energy Fuels expands RNG adoption

Clean Energy Fuels is spotlighting the stability of renewable natural gas (RNG) prices as more heavy-duty fleets deploy the Cummins X15N engine.

In a recent discussion on FreightWaves' What the Truck?!, the company's Senior Vice President of Sales stressed how RNG can help fleets manage operational costs and drive sustainable transport solutions. Clean Energy Fuels is betting that collaboration with Cummins and the introduction of advanced RNG-compatible engines will encourage broader fleet adoption and strengthen its position in the alternative fuels market.

Earlier this year, Clean Energy Fuels partnered with Texas dairy operators to increase renewable natural gas production at its Del Rio and South Fork plants. The company has focused on expanding RNG supply to meet growing demand from transportation fleets. These efforts support its current push for wider RNG adoption among heavy-duty truck operators.
