Ribbon Communications grows network infrastructure offering to meet rising demand — Ribbon expands infrastructure portfolio

Ribbon Communications is increasing its presence in the network infrastructure space with an expanded portfolio targeting some of the most complex deployments in the industry.

The company, which has already deployed hundreds of thousands of network elements, aims to strengthen its position by offering enhanced critical infrastructure solutions to major network operators. No further financial or client details were disclosed. Details are being clarified.

Ribbon Communications has previously enabled enterprise cloud migration from Avaya and Cisco to platforms such as Genesys and Zoom, according to a recent report. The company also scheduled a webinar with TNS covering strategies for transitioning legacy voice infrastructure while minimizing complexity, as detailed here.
