Hut 8 expands AI data centers

Hut 8 announced that its CFO Sean Glennan and Vice President of Energy Origination Chris Vickery are presenting at Datacloud USA, where they will share insights into the company’s approach to developing, commercializing, and financing AI data center campuses, including River Bend and Beacon Point.

The executives are expected to address their experience in building large-scale, multi-gigawatt data center infrastructure and discuss Hut 8’s ongoing efforts to expand its presence within the U.S. digital infrastructure space.

Hut 8 previously reported Q2 2026 results showing growth driven by its power-first strategy at its initial AI data center campuses, according to company disclosures. The company has also cautioned about unauthorized groups misusing its name to solicit investments in Uganda, as detailed in a public advisory. These developments frame Hut 8’s ongoing expansion and engagement in the U.S. digital infrastructure market.
