Energy Vault has expanded its Asset Vault platform through the acquisition of Goshe Energy Storage's portfolio, adding more than 2.3 GW of battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in the U.S.

The newly acquired portfolio includes two ready-to-build projects totaling 350 MW, both expected to reach commercial status. This move further strengthens Energy Vault's presence in the U.S. energy storage market by increasing its project pipeline significantly.

Energy Vault previously advanced its international project footprint by acquiring land for the 125 MW Stoney Creek BESS in New South Wales after FIRB approval. In Italy, the company’s Digital Vault Sulcis was designated a strategic project, which expedited approvals for its initial 30 MW launch. These developments reflect Energy Vault’s ongoing expansion into multiple storage markets.
