Couchbase enables Paddy Power Betfair to reach over 1,000,000 transactions per second
Couchbase hits 1M TPS milestone

Couchbase reported that Paddy Power Betfair achieved more than 1,000,000 transactions per second by adopting its technology.

The company stated that when legacy caching and traditional NoSQL solutions were unable to support large-scale betting throughput, Paddy Power Betfair turned to Couchbase, resulting in sub-millisecond performance.

Couchbase previously announced its sponsorship of the Global Chess League 2026 in Bangalore alongside Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra. The company has focused on expanding its profile through such partnerships. Its recent technology adoption by Paddy Power Betfair follows these broader visibility efforts.
