The session opened with a gap down from the previous close of $269.11 to $261.55, and shares of Datadog have since recovered a portion of that initial drop. Price remains below the MA-20 at $268.15 but above the MA-50 and MA-200, reflecting a split daily structure. Stoch RSI is in oversold territory, a stretched reading that limits room for further downside.
A close above $268.15 would show buyers are willing to follow through on the move. Shares initially dropped from $269.11 to $261.55 at the open before rebounding partway. From here, despite a sustained move lower with a firm trend over the past week, upside probability is 65% and downside probability is 35% for the coming trading week, with an expected range of $247.27 to $285.22. A drop below $259.02 would show the move is being faded. On the weekly chart the longer-term picture stays firmly constructive.
Previously it was reported that Datadog’s technical momentum and product expansions had established a broadly bullish longer-term trend. The recent launch of Agent Observability for ClaudeAI Marketplace adds a new layer of AI-native integration, and with price action holding above significant long-term moving averages, a close above $268.15 this week would signal renewed upward commitment.
