Commerce.com debuts AI for BigCommerce

Commerce.com has enabled AI agents to shop directly on BigCommerce storefronts with no extra setup required.

This development is made possible through a new partnership with Cloudflare, introducing WebMCP to merchants for AI-powered product search and automated cart building. The integration is designed to streamline the shopping experience on BigCommerce by leveraging artificial intelligence.

Commerce.com has previously supported unified online and retail operations for merchants. It enabled BromptonBicycle to run its direct-to-consumer site and 1,000 retail partners through a single BigCommerce platform. These collaborations demonstrate Commerce.com's role in facilitating integrated commerce solutions.
