CVRx leads first BENEFIT-HF trial implantation in Ohio
CVRx achieves Ohio trial milestone

CVRx announced that The Christ Hospital research team has implanted their first participant in the BENEFIT-HF trial, making it the first site in Ohio to achieve this milestone.

The initiative, led by Dr. Rachel Garcia and supported by several specialists and researchers, marks an important operational step for the trial and highlights the engagement of the hospital in advancing clinical research in heart failure.

CVRx has recently supported Endeavor Health’s first Barostim device implant to broaden heart failure treatment options for patients, according to a company announcement. The Barostim system is designed to address unmet needs in heart failure care. The latest enrollment at The Christ Hospital follows a series of collaborations focused on advancing clinical research in this area.
