D-Wave Quantum has received the 2026 Digital Innovation Award in the Quantum Computing and High-Performance Computing category for its project, Italy first annealing quantum computer built using the company Advantage2 system.

The award highlights D-Wave Quantum collaboration with Swiss Quantum Technology SA to advance quantum computing capabilities in Italy. The project, titled 'Italy First Annealing Quantum Computer,' focuses on deploying cutting-edge quantum hardware in the region.

D-Wave Quantum recently reported a 1% decline in its stock price to $11.54 ahead of its third quarter 2026 results. The company also announced enhancements to its Stride hybrid solver after shares rose 2.8% to $10.37. These developments reflect ongoing activity as D-Wave advances its technology portfolio.
