Standard Chartered predicts 70-fold Arbitrum surge to $10
Standard Chartered sees Arbitrum surging 70-fold by 2030

Standard Chartered has initiated coverage of Arbitrum and forecast that ARB will reach $10 by the end of 2030. With the token currently trading at around $0.13, the target implies an increase of roughly 70-fold.

According to The Block, the bank also expects ARB to outperform Bitcoin and Ethereum over the forecast period. Analysts see growing adoption of Arbitrum infrastructure by traditional financial firms and the expansion of tokenized assets as key drivers.

Standard Chartered's interim targets put ARB at $0.50 by the end of 2026, $1.50 in 2027 and $3.50 in 2028. The bank expects the token to reach $6.50 by the end of 2029.

Robinhood Chain boosts Arbitrum revenue

Standard Chartered's Global Head of Digital Assets Research Geoff Kendrick highlighted Arbitrum as an infrastructure platform that allows traditional financial companies to bring assets onchain.

Under the Arbitrum Expansion Program, the network receives 10% of the net revenue generated by external blockchains using its technology stack. Kendrick believes this model is becoming increasingly important as revenue plays a larger role in the valuation of crypto projects.

One example is Robinhood Chain, which launched on July 1. Standard Chartered estimates that payments to Arbitrum from the network could reach around $5 million in September alone if the current pace continues.

During the first two weeks of September, Robinhood Chain generated an average of $2.8 million in daily fee revenue. Against this backdrop, Arbitrum's total monthly revenue has increased more than fivefold compared with levels before the Robinhood network launched.

Kendrick believes Robinhood Chain's early results increase the likelihood that other traditional financial companies will launch blockchains using Arbitrum's technology stack. This, in turn, could increase future revenue under the Arbitrum Expansion Program.

SC expects tokenization market to reach $4 trillion

The bank also sees rapid growth in tokenized assets as another potential driver for ARB. Standard Chartered expects the market to expand from around $340 billion to $4 trillion by the end of 2028, with tokenized equities reaching $750 billion.

For comparison, Standard Chartered also forecasts Ethereum at $4,000 by the end of 2026 and $40,000 by 2030. The bank expects Bitcoin to reach $100,000 and $500,000, respectively, but projects ARB to deliver a higher percentage return.

In June, Standard Chartered issued a similar long-term forecast for AAVE. The bank expects the token to reach $3,500 by the end of 2030, supported by a recovery in DeFi and expansion of the tokenized real-world asset market.

Analysts see Aave as one of the potential beneficiaries of the next market cycle. They also point to increased decentralized finance activity and the integration of RWA with blockchain infrastructure as key growth drivers.

Earlier, we reported that Standard Chartered gave clients in the UAE access to Bitcoin and Ethereum trading. The bank continues to expand access to crypto assets for traditional investors.
