XRP price prediction: Can 200 SMA support a breakout above $1.32?
XRP needs $1.327 to reverse trend

XRP is trying to recover after another wave of selling across the crypto market. The price has moved back above an important technical level, but buyers still need to clear stronger resistance before the short-term trend can improve.

The XRP Ledger is preparing to activate the fixCleanup3_4_0 amendment, which is designed to address a vulnerability related to token issuance. According to FinanceFeeds, 33 of 35 validators currently support the upgrade, with activation dependent on that level of backing being maintained.

Santiment, meanwhile, reported that 7,934 new XRP Ledger wallets were created on November 1, the sixth-highest daily total of 2026. Analysts suggest the increase in activity may have been linked to users moving assets into self-custody following the recent Binance hack.

The U.S. midterm elections added another source of volatility. Political uncertainty intensified swings across the crypto market, with XRP also caught in the broader move.

XRP price needs a breakout above $1.327 to reverse bearish trend

XRP fully completed the scenario outlined previously. The token failed to hold support at $1.327 and reached the $1.250 target before another liquidation wave pushed the price down to $1.200.

The market later stabilized, allowing XRP to recover above the 200-day SMA near $1.275. This level will be an important reference point over the next several days. If the price can remain above the moving average, the rebound could extend toward resistance at $1.327.

Only a break above that level would change the technical structure. Until then, the short-term trend remains bearish.

If XRP falls back below the 200-day SMA and establishes itself under $1.248, the risk of another correction toward $1.184 would increase sharply.

XRP network growth contrasts with weak price action

The rise in new wallets and the upcoming XRP Ledger upgrade have yet to materially improve market sentiment. Selling pressure remains in place, while elevated volatility continues to make recovery attempts less reliable.

At the same time, the sharp rebound following the liquidation wave shows that buyers are still stepping in on deeper declines. A more convincing reversal, however, will require sustained demand strong enough to support XRP even while broader market uncertainty persists.
