Biconomy review: Exchange warns community about malicious phishing links
Biconomy combats rising phishing scams

The cryptocurrency exchange Biconomy is warning its users worldwide about fraudulent emails being sent in the platform’s name. The company stated that scammers are distributing fake messages that claim to offer rewards or conduct other misleading activities in an attempt to steal users’ personal information.

According to the announcement, the fraudulent emails originate from suspicious addresses such as mixprainha@gmail.com and support-mail@biconomy.com, neither of which is associated with the exchange. Biconomy emphasized that it never requests passwords, sensitive information, or payments via email and urged users to verify all communications before responding.

Fake emails targeting users raise security concerns

Biconomy noted that the scam messages often contain malicious links designed to compromise personal information or devices. The platform strongly advised customers to avoid clicking unknown attachments or URLs, stressing that such tactics are commonly used in phishing schemes across the digital asset industry.

To help users distinguish between legitimate and fraudulent communications, the company has launched a dedicated “Official Representatives Verification Page.” This tool allows traders to confirm whether an email claiming to originate from Biconomy is authentic.

The company also reminded users to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) and regularly update their passwords as an added layer of protection.

Exchange reinforces safety measures as scammers grow more sophisticated

Biconomy, known for its user-friendly trading infrastructure and growing community, highlighted that safeguarding clients’ accounts remains its top priority. The announcement underscores a broader trend of increasing fraud attempts targeting crypto users, as cybercriminals adopt more advanced methods to impersonate legitimate platforms.

“We encourage users to contact our customer service team immediately if they encounter suspicious activity,” Biconomy said, adding that fast reporting helps reduce risk and allows the platform to respond more effectively.
