Brand profile and growth plans

Founded in Rome in 2013, NABLA operates as an independent digital-native make-up brand in the accessible premium segment. The company says its products are designed and developed in-house, with a focus on research, ingredient selection and high-performance formulas, and that its full range is vegan and cruelty-free.

NABLA says it is backed by a community of more than one million followers, combining product innovation, creativity and a distinct brand identity. Chief executive Cristiano De Simone says the listing marks a new phase for the company and is intended to support further investment in research and development, expansion into new product categories and faster international growth.

Our earlier coverage of the Dangote Refinery IPO looked at Nigeria’s push to open a major industrial asset to retail investors through a large share sale. It outlined the planned offer terms and expansion story, while flagging how a high valuation and a very small free float could create liquidity and pricing risks after listing.
