Disclosure supports ETF pricing transparency

Daily NAV statements are a routine part of exchange traded fund disclosure because they give investors a reference point for fund valuation across different trading currencies and share classes.

For the UK market, the update adds current reference data for fixed income ETFs spanning global corporate bonds, emerging market debt and climate-focused bond strategies, supporting price discovery and portfolio monitoring on London Stock Exchange.

Our earlier article on India’s disinvestment programme showed that the bulk of proceeds since FY2016 has come through market-based routes such as ETFs, public issues and buybacks, while strategic sales contributed a comparatively small share. It also highlighted how the planned IDBI Bank stake sale could materially lift annual receipts and potentially help the government exceed its disinvestment estimate after multiple years of missed targets.
